How we check reviews
Honest reviews help people make informed choices. Here is what we do before publishing them.
Every review is checked by a person
Reviews are published after a manual check for spam, links, abusive language and reviews written by the business itself.
Reviewers tell us if they were a customer
Reviewers say whether they bought or booked something. We display this as a customer declaration, without checking a purchase receipt.
Members can reply, but cannot remove reviews
Members can post a public reply. A negative review is only removed if it breaks our rules.
How rankings work
Rankings weigh the average rating and the number of approved reviews. Members cannot pay for a higher position.
